The dehesa and olive grove are generous with their beef, Iberian acorn-fed hams and organic extra virgin olive oil. The Hammam

At our country house hotel on a dehesa (farming estate) you will find a peaceful oasis ruled by water: the hammam. You can relax your body and mind as you move freely between the sauna and the cold, hot and tepid thermal baths before going to the relaxation room to end the thermal experience with aromatherapy and a cup of organic herbal tea. You can also treat yourself to extra pampering in our massage room. Book your escape from the world. The dehesa will be waiting for you on your return...

The organic oil press

Our organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is part of a family dream that once flew from a Mediterranean island to a peaceful valley in Extremadura.

Green is the colour of Hábitat Cigüeña Negra, the colour of the dehesa and the colour of the juice pressed from the olives of our organic olive grove. This once forlorn, ancient estate has come back to life with our organic oil press. The fruit from the olive grove is a native variety called Manzanilla Cacereña and is known to produce prime-quality virgin olive oil. Our heart is green. Over 200 hectares of peace, country wisdom and nature

Our farming estate or dehesa with hotel is at the foot of the Sierra de Gata mountains, in the remote valley of Jálama, a refuge for the black stork, the icon of our land. On this privileged spot in Cáceres, whose sustainable landscape has been shaped by man for centuries, we produce organic extra virgin olive oil and raise our cattle and Iberian acorn-fed pigs with love. Because Nature has its own wisdom and it’s wise to listen to it. We inhabit this dehesa in Extremadura. And we welcome you in.
